Made On Main Street was a multifaceted project that allowed me to explore different areas of design and break out of the box. The project consisted of a van wrap, posters, fliers, promotional items (i.e. pencils, hats, balloons etc.), booths and much more.

The Band Shoppe Catalog was an annual project where I was the Design Lead, Art Director, Product Stylist and Post Production Artist for 10 years. The catalog grew from 200 to 300+ pages over the time I was fortunate enough to spend with Band Shoppe.

The OneMain Financial Kick-Off project was a very unique project where it had to be fun, energetic and on-brand. From the design of the superhero-esque logo to the t-shirt design, it was definitely one of those fun jobs designers enjoy working through.

This is one example of post-production that shows the depth of the retouching work that goes into building a great cover and image. This particular cover ended up receiving Honorable Mention in the NAPP Photoshop User Contest.

Happy Birthday! This is currently the email a OneMain Financial customer will receive during their birthday month. The email scrolls to reveal a party favor that is animated unrolling, and at the end there’s a nice message for the customer.

As a graphic designer, you never know what you’re going to get to work on, and one thing was pageantry design. During the design phase you have to think about lines, fabrics, colors and how to make the fabrics do exactly what you envision them to do to obtain the look you’re after. I worked with a pattern maker and fabric specialist to get the results I was after. I have designed hundreds of uniforms throughout my career.

Getting to work on OneMain Financial and Elliott Sadler collateral has been an honor. This was one of two ads that represented OneMain Financial and Elliott Sadler as leaders in their respective industries. The video below was created for the Main Event Miami for Elliott Sadler’s introduction.

T-shirt design and the entire printing process is a love of mine. The “1ntern” design was a unique design as it evolved into something that not only interns received but into a shirt that everyone wanted. The rest of the designs range from events, teams, schools and brands. These are just a few of the designs I’ve created.

The first four pieces were ads created that ran in marching band industry leading magazines. I was responsible for art direction, design and product styling. The direct mail project was sent to current and prospective customers. It received positive response in sales as well as a Graphic Design USA Award in the Direct Mail Category.

I’ve worked on many unique brands and have been fortunate to get to create some from the beginning. I enjoy the challenge of creating logos because no two are alike, and you have to depict a certain vision of the client.

Billing statement inserts must be customer friendly and inviting. The photo had to have the ability to support typography, deliver a message and be on-brand.

This campaign had to deliver and support a powerful message. It was all about giving to others. The concept behind the entire campaign was about utilizing the look and feel of homeless signs to present positive messaging. The outpour from participants was overwhelmingly wonderful.

These are all projects I have done during an experimental stage, just for fun or during the final year of earning my Master’s Degree.
POST-PRODUCTION ARTIST
The photography shown is credited to Commercial Photographer Michael Wheatley. I was asked to do post-production work to all the photos as well as lay them out in a grid-like poster. The images were color corrected, sharpened and retouched. I was asked to keep the floor along with the grittiness but the background had to fall out to black to make the hero pop. The posters won an award at the Evansville Design Group Award Show.

PRODUCTION
When I’m not designing during the day, you can find me at times either designing or printing t-shirts. I have experience running screen print jobs from start to finish. 1. Design 2. Film 3. Burn Screens 4. Set Up Screens on the Press 5. Print Production. One goal I have is to create a t-shirt brand but until then I’ll keep printing for others.
